Winter Membership Drive:
In 2007, the members of Indian Hills celebrated the opening of the area’s largest private swimming facility and voted almost unanimously to construct a new clubhouse adjacent to the new swimming complex. The Building Committee and Board of Directors worked together and devised an affordable method to provide the funding needed for these improvements. No assessment was necessary to fund the new pool and clubhouse. Fun, informal social functions that are adult and family oriented are held throughout the year and are heavily attended. Social functions include but are not limited to Easter Egg Hunt, Family Night with Santa, New Year’s Eve Party, Family Pool Parties, Fish Fry’s, Stag Night Dinners, Fireside Dinners, Halloween Costume Party, Children’s Halloween Party and Hayride, Derby Day and TGIF Dinners. New members are immediately encouraged to participate in the Men’s Thursday League or Ladies Day Golf on Wednesday mornings. Foursomes are not predetermined but are drawn at random making it easier for the new member to meet others. Playing in the Couples Scramble and Potlucks on Sunday afternoons is another way to meet other members. We have children from all city and county schools playing and competing together on the course and in the pool. Our Swim Team and Junior Golf Programs are second to none. There is an intangible feeling and atmosphere at Indian Hills Country Club. You become part of the Indian Hills family. We believe that is why children who grow up here, join here as adults. There is no place which makes you feel more at home than Indian Hills. |
