Non Golfing Members – Transfer Now!
     February 17^th is the deadline to transfer from non golfing membership to full golfing status without any additional initiation fee.  Stock purchase of $1,050 and monthly payment of $82 capital improvement fee is required.  To take advantage of this great offer, email or send written request.

NCAA Basketball Games (WKU – UK – U of L only) Draft Beer Special 
     During all televised games for Western, Kentucky and Louisville, we will serve draft beer for $1.50.

Sunday Brunch 10:00 am till 1:00 pm  
     IHCC is a great place for Sunday Brunch.  Adult price is $9.00 and children ages 5 to 12 are $5/each.
Brunch will be available from 10 am till 1 pm every Sunday with the exception of February 12^th when we will be having the Valentine’s Brunch. 

Daily Lunch Specials
     Tuesdays and Wednesdays are when our chefs are making some really great new contemporary and delicious lunch dishes.  Check your email for IHCC weekly lunch specials.  Thursdays and Fridays are always our famous Meatloaf and Catfish.

Super Bowl Party & Chili Cook Off – Sunday, February 5^th
     The 2012 Super Bowl Game will be on Sunday, February 5^th.   You can watch the game on multiple TV’s or on the ballroom’s three large drop-down screens.  The best Super Bowl Party in town will begin @ 4:30 with kickoff scheduled for 5:20 pm.  We will have ballgame franks with all the trimmings provided by the Social Fund.  There will be beer and drink specials.   The annual Chili Cook Off will be held at halftime during the Super Bowl.  Those wishing to enter the cook-off should bring their chili in a crock pot.  There will not be an appetizer contest this year.

Friday night Fish Fry – February 10^th @ 6:30 pm
     Our monthly Friday Night Fish Fry will be held on February 10^th.  Fried Catfish, Baked Fish and side dishes will be served buffet style beginning at 6:30 pm.  Only $11 per person – all you can eat.  Children ages 5 -12 are $6.  Please call or email to sign up by Thursday, February 11^th @ noon.

Men’s Stag Night Dinner – Thursday, February 16^th @ 6:30 pm
     Enjoy a Bourbon Glazed Pork Chop Dinner on Thursday, February 16^th for $16/person.  Guests are welcome.  Call or email your reservations by Tuesday, February 14^th.  

Valentine’s Brunch – Sunday, February 12^th from 11:30 am till 1:30 pm
     Our very special Valentine’s Brunch will be held on Sunday, February 12^th.  A great treat for your Valentine.  We will have a very special brunch menu in addition to music, flowers and mimosas for $17/person.  Reserve early as space is limited.  Call 842-0041 or email csummers@indianhills-bgky.com.  This brunch is designed for couples.  There will be two sittings, 11:00 am and 12:30 pm.  Please indicate the time you prefer when making your reservations.

Snowball Open – Sunday, March 4^th @ 9:00 am
     The Snowball Open will be held on Sunday, March 4^th beginning with a breakfast buffet from 9:00 till 9:45 a.m.  The teams will be formed by blind draw for the ABCD player scramble.  The team draft will be held at 9:45 followed by a shotgun start at 10:30 (depending on the frost and course conditions).    The entry deadline is Saturday, March 3^rd @ noon.  If you are not signed up by this time, you will be placed on a waiting list.  Please call the Golf Shop, 843-8256, to enter.  Entry fee is $28.

Monthly Statements
     The February statements include charges for Club Storage, $100, and Locker Rental.  Lockers are $80/year for a full locker and $40/year for a half locker.   If you would like to sign up for a half locker, please call Cindy, 842-0041, or email csummers@indianhills-bgky.com. 
     All annual Cart related charges (Cart Rental Program, Cart Storage and the Drive-On Fee) will be on your March statement and the Range Program will be on the April statement.   These charges are automatically renewed unless you call to cancel.  Members wishing to spread out the annual cart fees over three months, whether it is for storage, rental or drive on fee should be making their second installment in February.   Only family members age 16 or over are permitted to drive carts, rental or privately owned.  Indian Hills does not allow carts to be hauled in and out for daily use. 

Winter Golf Course Usage    
     Please call the Golf Shop, 843-8256, to see if the course is open.  The sun might be shining, but the course may not be suitable for play.  When the “Cart Paths Only” sign is posted, you are to strictly adhere to the rule, no exceptions.  The ninety degree rule dictates that fairways can only be crossed at a ninety degree angle – do not drive up the center of the fairway.  Please repair your ball marks, fill divots with sand and remind your playing companions to do the same.  Your cooperation is appreciated and will only help maintain better playing conditions.                Robert G. NEW MERCHANDISE COMING THIS SPRING TO "JOHN'S GOLF SHOP"

New Range Balls
     2,400 New range balls are in and will be available March 1st for practice.  I have chosen to go with the Top-Flite tour range ball this year (yellow).  The golf balls are a better quality and a little softer than those previously used at IHCC.  Call the Golf Shop, 843-8256 to sign up for the Range Program.         

2012 Tournament Schedule          
     The tournament schedule is almost finalized for the 2012 season.  Here are some key dates to put on your calendar:

     I look forward to a great season at the club.  I am excited about the new merchandise, golf schedule and seeing our members enjoy the spring season.  The golf shop will be stocked with over $75,000 in new merchandise this spring alone.  I have expanded our selections and I hope you stop by to check out the new look for 2012.  Thank you for your continued support.  The golf shop wouldn't be a success without the outstanding support of the membership.                Thank you!!!!     Mully
